German Gilfanov, Head of Business Unit Mercedes-Benz of DAIMLER KAMAZ RUS, has an engineering education. In 1991 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys with a degree in Metalworking. In 2006 he received the second economics degree in Kazan Institute of Economics and Finance in Business Administration, then studied marketing in Moscow Institute of National Economy named after Plekhanov.

Mr. Gilfanov’s career in the automotive industry began in 2005, when he joined KAMAZ OAO. In 2012 he became the CEO of Trade and Finance Company KAMAZ OAO, where he was in charge of truck sales on the Russian market.

German Gilfanov joined the DAIMLER KAMAZ RUS company in March 2015, now he is the Head of Business Unit Mercedes-Benz and the member of the Board of Management of DAIMLER KAMAZ RUS.
