The DAIMLER KAMAZ RUS company has two plants in Naberezhnye Chelny. The company’s first plant is the CKD-production of Mercedes-Benz trucks operating since 2010. In 2015 the Mitsubishi FUSO brand (since 2018 renamed as FUSO) was integrated into the business in line with the strategy of DAIMLER KAMAZ RUS. It increased the number of assembly lines at the plant, and since then it has been producing thousands of light-duty FUSO trucks per year. At its production facilities in Naberezhnye Chelny the company produces various modifications of Mercedes-Benz trucks: Actros, Arocs, Unimog, as well as FUSO trucks. Since the establishment of the joint venture in Naberezhnye Chelny in 2009 and the start of production in 2010, more than 30,000 trucks have been produced in total: appr. 21,000 Mercedes-Benz and appr. 11,000 FUSO trucks. Total area of the plant is 33,000 square m with three assembly lines, paint shop, acceptance and storage area for finished products, offices, training center and warehouse for parts and components.

In May 2019, DAIMLER KAMAZ RUS is going to celebrate the official opening of its second plant in Naberezhnye Chelny. This plant will produce cabin frames for Mercedes-Benz trucks. The 60,000 square m plant is equipped with high-technology robots and industry’s state-of-the-art solutions; production capacities comprise welding and paint shops, logistics, energy center and office space.

With its two modern plants for trucks and cabin-in-white assembly DAIMLER KAMAZ RUS supplies the heavy-duty truck market with the trucks assembled by the highest standards of the legendary German quality.
